Mafuyu Asahina is a character from the game Project Sekai: Colorful Stage. Her discord name is 'Yuki' and she has an online alias known as 'OWN'. I think Mafuyu is the most relatable character to me to ever exist. I adore her so much. Not only is she my highest kin but she is also a comfort character for me.

When I first started Project Sekai my favorite was Emu Otori, the complete opposite of Mafuyu! It was quite funny, as I related to her the most and was crazy kinstagrammer over her. Back in my 'Emu Irl' phase, I was scared of Mafuyu, and thought she looked like shes seen a war LOL!!! I mean it!!! When I first saw her in my freshman year I said 'Yo what the hell is wrong with this one??' LOLLLLL!!!!!!! How ironic that as the months passed I realized how relatable the girl was. When I slowly started getting into her character more and THANKFULLY got out of my kinsta phase, I started to kin her more and more. Soon I fell in love... in love with Mafuyu Asahina! I fell in love with her struggles, the way she talks, the way she looks, her cards, her funny moments, her personality, everything about her is something I adore, everything about her is.. like.. ME!!!

KANAMAFU

Its only natrual I like one of the most popular Mafuyu ships. Mafuyu and Kanade Yoisaki will forever hold a place in my heart. In my personal expierence, ive always wanted someone I could depend on and hold onto when I cry- Kanade is like that for Mafuyu. Kanade vowed to save Mafuyu from her depression no matter what, and that vow has struck me in the HEART! Undying devotion is an amazing trope.

Kanade Yoisaki and Mafuyu Asahina. Their names are opposite. Asa means morning while Yoi means night. Yoisaki doesnt exist as a real name outside of project sekai, meaning that Yoisaki was created to contrast the name Asahina. Do you see how special they are to me? Theyre the ying and yang, and they are just like me and my beloved Kai. Kai has many traits of Kanade, being gentle, kind, blue, and extremely talented. Of course they both struggle with mental health issues as well, and its why me, the Mafuyu to his Kanade, connect so well. Truthfully... yes, I do like Kanamafu mainly because they resemble me and my sweet Kai.
